Payment

If possible, please use a contactless credit or debit card to pay.

Access to the toilets

We are operating a "one person at a time" system in each of the toilets, and locks have been fitted to the toilet doors to facilitate this.  Please test the door gently to see if it's locked!

To access the toilets from the Coffee Lounge, go out of the double doors and along the corridor that leads towards the front door.  Return to the Coffee Lounge by the same route.  As the corridor is not very wide, please watch out for other people using it and keep as far as possible from anyone not in your household.

To access the toilets from the Main Hall, go back out of the double doors into the entrance hall and then along the corridor that leads towards the Coffee Lounge.  Return to the Maiin Hall by the same route.  Please watch out for other people in the entrance hall and the corridor and keep as far as possible from anyone not in your household.

To access the toilets from the Barbecue Patio, go back around the outside of the building, in through the front door and along the corridor that leads towards the Coffee Lounge.  Return to the Barbecue Patio by the same route.  Please watch out for other people using the front door and in the corridor and keep as far as possible from anyone not in your household.

Please note that the door between the Coffee Lounge and the Barbecue Patio is for staff use only (except in an emergency).

Contact information

When you place your order you will be asked for the name and contact phone number of one member of your party.  This is to comply with Government guidelines and to help the NHS Test & Trace Service to contact members of your party if someone who was in the Coffee Shop at the same time subsequently tests positive for Covid-19.  We will also record the number of people in your party, the time that you arrived and whether you are sitting inside or outside.  (If you're sitting on the Barbecue Patio it wouldn't make any sense for you to be asked to self-isolate because someone sitting in the Coffee Lounge tested positive for Covid-19.)

The contact record sheets will be stored securely for 21 days and then shredded.

Face masks

Please wear a face covering when you are moving around inside the village hall.  It is now clear that wearing face coverings plays an important role in reducing the spread of Covid-19.  A cloth face covering doesn't protect the wearer from catching Covid-19, but if someone has Covid-19 then wearing a face mask prevents them from passing it on to other people.  Remember that if you catch Covid-19 you are at your most contagious during the 48 hours before you get any symptoms (and some people are contagious without ever getting symptoms).

We are not asking you to wear a face covering in the ouside seating area (as the risk of Covid-19 transmission is much lower outdoors) or when you are sitting down.

Re-usable cloth face masks are available for sale in the Coffee Shop for £1.50 each (limited to one per customer per visit).
