Looking for something for the kids to do while the schools are closed?  Why not get them to have a go at Sadberge Village Hall's Easter Drawing / Colouring Competition?

>>  The competition is open to Sadberge children aged 2 - 16.
>> Click on this link to view or download the entry form (PDF format).  Then print it off (at A4 size) and get your child to decorate the egg in any way they wish with crayons, paint or felt tip pens.  It can be decorated with a pattern or drawings.
>> On the back of the entry form, please put:-
  • The child's name and age.
  • A parent or guardian's name and contact phone number.
  • Your address.  (We need your address in order to get the "sweet-related" prize to you ...... while complying with the social distancing guidelines, of course!)
  • A signed declaration by the parent or guardian saying "I certify that this entry is [child's name]'s own work".
>> Put completed entries into one of the three Sadberge Parish Council mailboxes no later than 5 p.m. on Saturday 11th April 2020.  The locations of the mailboxes are:-
  • At the front of the village hall car park.
  • At the edge of the village green near the brick bus shelter in the centre of the village.
  • At the junction of Norton Road and Abbey Road.
>> The competition will be judged in the following age categories:-
  • 2 - 5 years old
  • 6 - 10 years old
  • 11 - 16 years old
>> The winning entries will be published on the Sadberge Village Hall Facebook page (with the child's first name) and there will be a sweet-related prize for each entrant.
>> If you can't print off the entry form for any reason, send the Sadberge Village Hall Secretary, Alastair Mackenzie, an email with your address and the number of children who wish to enter the competition and we'll arrange to put the relevant number of entry forms through your letter box.  Note: This only applies to addresses in Sadberge!
>> If your household is in isolation due to the coronavirus and you can't get out to put your child's entry into one of the Parish Council mailboxes then take a photo of the entry and email it to Alastair Mackenzie, remembering to give the child's name and age.

If you have any questions, contact Jenny Hill by email or via the Sadberge Village Hall Facebook page.
